Charlotte Emily is a recurring character in the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise debuting in the second game as the puppet or marionette. She was the daughter of Henry Emily who was the co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment alongside his business partner William Afton. At some point Charlotte was locked out by a group a bullies and then William Afton appeared and murdered her in cold blood. She would later find other victims of William Afton from the missing children incident and later placed their spirits into Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy all to stop Afton's killing spree. In 1987, she was responsible for getting Afton's second set of victims into new bodies, even tho the children all banded together to possess Balloon Boy instead of the bodies she prepared for them. She also attempted to free her friends by throwing a party in the purgatory pizzeria, but failed, leading to the creation of Molten Freddy and events of Ultimate Custom Night.
Players must survive a night shift at the "new and improved" Freddy Fazbear's Pizza restaurant from 12 a.m. To 6 a.m., without being attacked by any of the animatronics that wander from room to room.
